Members of the Cartwright’s Hill CWA joined Carevan volunteers for morning tea on Wednesday 15 October. They were special guests as they gave us a sizeable monetary donation. Thank you.
The Chamberlain’s Lamb Donation
Thank you Helen and Max Chamberlain for the donation of fresh lamb. As this meat is very expensive we usually cannot afford to buy it for our cooked meals. These will be a treat for the recipients of our meals.
Banana Donation from OzHarvest
James from OzHarvest delivered 3 boxes of bananas. We send banana muffins to schools every week to assist families who are finding it tough to fill lunchbox. We are very grateful, thank you.
FoodShare Launched Their Wagga Programme at Carevan
Carevan is delighted that FoodShare launched their network in Wagga at Carevan on Thursday 5 October. This is an Albury-based charity that rescues food and delivers it to community partners. FoodShare also gave Carevan a sizeable donation, in particular meat products. We are so lucky to have become a partner of FoodShare.
