Morning Tea for Volunteers

A morning tea was held on the 24th May to celebrate Volunteers Week 2026. Thank you everyone who has Volunteered at Carevan Wagga over the last year. Our organisation is successful because of you.

Donation of 100 Easter Bunnies

An anonymous donor has given Carevan 100 chocolate Easter bunnies to give out around the community. These will put an extra wide smile on the faces of many children (and adults) in Wagga.

The Breakfast of Champions

Carevan catered a breakfast for Beyond Bitumen/Beydon Blue yesterday. People were heard to say it was the best breakfast ever.14 dozen muffins were made, a wide variety of fruit cut and a selection of drink poured.

Riverina Producers’ Market Donation

Riverina Producers’ Market has very kindly donated to Carevan five boxes of sausages.  We usually cook at least one sausage meal a week, so this donation will be most useful. Thank you for thinking of us.

Cecil and Kathleen Toy Foundation Donation

Carevan has been awarded $10,000 from the Cecil and Kathleen Toy Foundation. This will go a long way to pay for our dishes’ ingredients. Thank you from all of us at Carevan.

Wicking System Update

Our wicking system donated by WaterUps has coped with our very hot summer. Vegetables and herbs needed for spaghetti bolognese are thriving. It will not be long before they can be picked and cooked into delicious free meals.

Grocery Donation from Wagga Marketplace

Members of the Wagga community were able to donate grocery items at a collection point at the Wagga Marketplace. Thank you to the staff of our Marketplace for organising this for Carevan.

Robert Buick Donated Christmas Money to Carevan

A very big thank you to Robert Buick who used his Christmas money to purchase these items to donate to Carevan (accompanied by his Nan, Ann Brewster). What a thought gesture!! It is greatly appreciated

Rotary Donation

Thanks to Kooringal Rotary for this donation of goodies left over from their Australia Day BBQ. A wonderful bonus for the start of 2026 cooking.
