Donations Needed for Wagga Wagga City Library’s Community Food Appeal

This year any goods donated to the Wagga Wagga City Library’s Community Food Appeal will be given to Carevan. Donations of in-date, non-perishable food and toiletries are now being accepted at the Library until Friday 9 January 2026. Carevan received the first boxes of donations recently.
WaterUps Donates Wicking Beds to Carevan

Thank you Waterups for donating two wicking bed systems for the Carevan above ground vegetable and herb garden. Plants, such as tomato and basil, have also been donated by the community. RSM Golf Day at Wagga Wagga Country Club

Wagga Wagga Country Club hosted the RSM Charity Golf Day in support of Carevan and Can Assist. RSM are donating $10,000 and The Country Club $2141, to be split evenly. Thank you to both RSM and the Wagga Wagga Country Club for including Carevan in this fundraising event.
CSU Generous Food Donation

On Thursday Lucinda delivered a car load of food items from the CSU community. All those involved with this thank you very much for your generous donation.
Cartwright’s Hill CWA Donation

Members of the Cartwright’s Hill CWA joined Carevan volunteers for morning tea on Wednesday 15 October. They were special guests as they gave us a sizeable monetary donation. Thank you.
The Chamberlain’s Lamb Donation

Thank you Helen and Max Chamberlain for the donation of fresh lamb. As this meat is very expensive we usually cannot afford to buy it for our cooked meals. These will be a treat for the recipients of our meals.
